3 Simple Ways to Log Your Meals in the App

Updated over a month ago

To make logging your meals as convenient and easy as possible, our app offers three main ways to record your food. You can choose the one that best fits your situation.

1. Snap and Upload in Real-Time

This is the easiest method and the one we recommend most when you're starting out. It's just like taking a photo for social media. Simply snap a picture of your food directly through our app, and our AI will quickly calculate the energy and nutrients for you.

  • Best for: Logging meals as they happen, which helps build consistency and ensures you don't forget.

  • How to use: Before you eat, just open the app, select "Take Photo," and snap a picture of your meal.

2. Upload a Photo Later

Sometimes, it's just not a good time to open the app—you might be in a meeting, your battery is low, or a friend took the photo for you. Don't worry. You can always save the photo and upload it later.

  • Best for: Busy days or situations where you can't log your meal immediately.

  • How to use: Take a photo with your phone's regular camera. When you're ready, open the app, select "Take Photo," and then choose "Gallery" to select the picture you saved.

3. Enter the Food Data Manually

This option is perfect for those who cook at home and know exactly what ingredients are in their meal, You can log all the details yourself.

  • Best for: Home-cooked meals, times when you need maximum accuracy, or when you forgot to take a picture.

  • How to use: You can still upload a photo if you have one, then tap the "+ Add ingredient" button to search for and add each component of your meal in detail.

No matter which method you choose, the most important thing is consistency. Find the method that fits your lifestyle best, and let's get started by logging your first meal!
